In 2011, StarTek launched the Brand Warriors campaign. The idea came from a discussion of what StarTek does best and we realized our agents were on the front lines every day helping our clients win the battle of the brands.They protect and promote our clients’ brands and the outcome is loyalty for our clients’ products and services. The idea resonated with our clients and became an effective sales tool. For them, it was the affirmation that their valued brand was entrusted to the right company.
We also began to see how effective it was for our employees in increasing interest at the recruiting level and reducing attrition. For recruiting it was a new way of talking about customer service agents.The idea of painting your face with warrior paint is a popular trademark of the Brand Warrior spirit. It signifies the interest and commitment of our employees.The Brand Warrior spirit is built on four important principles: passion to do my job well, responsibility to myself and to my team, dedication to protect the client’s brand and enthusiasm for my job.
Brand Warrior provides a way to recognize and reward employees and provides a way for us to signify excellence. At the site level, employees are awarded stars for performance.The top Brand Warrior’s are recognized organization-wide on a monthly basis. A medal of excellence is also awarded for an idea or service that dramatically improves how StarTek operates or makes a significant contribution to a client’s line of business.
