A force for good: Impact sourcing

As a global organization, we recognize our responsibility to be a force for good. By creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups, we contribute to the economic success of our communities while benefitting our people, clients and shareholders by enhancing the diversity of our organization.

  • We employ over 1,000 agent-level apprentices as part of the Startek skill-building program
  • We proactively hire people with disabilities, including those through partnerships with non-government organizations (NGOs) and state employment exchanges
  • We offer free English-language skills courses enabling local community members to enhance their employment opportunities, including improving their fit for roles within our business

Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion

We believe diverse teams create better outcomes. We are proud to have a 50:50 gender ratio across our global business, but we believe we can do more and continue to strive to promote diversity across all levels of our organization.

In 2022, Startek was recognized as one of the Best Companies for Diversity by Comparably, a leading workplace culture and corporate brand reputation platform, and named among India's Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion™- Top 5 Award by Great Place to Work Institute for the second consecutive year.
